Research & development, innovation and sustainability are carried out using cutting-edge technologies with the aim of inspiring and guiding future professionals towards the discovery of new solutions and applications in the Digital Manufacturing area.

The MASTER in HIGH END LUXURY FASHION TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL MANUFACTURING is born thanks to the technological know-how od DYLOAN, the synergy with national and international partners and the support of professionals in the field. The educational path is structured for students with experience in the Fashion design, Designers and professionals that aim to improve their education or to specialize by acquiring new tools for digital manufacturing. Companies that specialize in innovative technologies, digital systems and realities that offer new materials all converge in the didactic activity: only though this interaction is it possible to bring innovation with a responsible approach. 

The goal is to offer a new perspective on the phases of prototyping, design, production and creativity in order to create items and fabrics for the market of High Fashion. We aim to be the bridge between technological world and creativity with attention to sustainability. The educational path of the Master will help the students to develop a more responsible vision in the use of: 

- Virtual 3D modelling and 3D (Rhinoceros 7.0 -Blender - Grasshopper -Clo3D- GrabCad Print)

- 3D printers that allow to print directly on fabrics 

- Digital embroidery 4.0 for instant dyeing of the thread 

- Thermowelding that allows to hermetically seal the juntures without giving up the impermeability of fabrics, create without seams. 

- Sustainability: study of materials and fabrics in order to acquire a more responsible vision in order to practically deal with a product’s circle of life for the prevention and reduction of its impact on the environment. 

- Design: ideation and development of projects with ethical and social principles in cooperation with our partners.

- Responsible design: role of the designer, choice of materials, Zero Waste design, virtual design etc.
- Innovation: innovative materials and innovative industrial processes.
- Recycling: needs and applications. Fashion luxury brands and groups that practice recycling, methods and results.
- Textile: textile materials and their impact on the environment. Certifications and protocols.
- Social: social impact of fashion: decent pay, child labor, EU strategy for textiles.
- Design: Development and implementation of projects with the use of responsible materials

STRUMENTI E LABORATORIO

TOOLS AND LABORATORY

During the educational path, the students will have the possibility of feel part of a real creative laboratory with the goal of acquire a clear design and methodologic projects and practical use of technology. 

The candidates will have the opportunity to practice their creativity by deepen their knowledge on every innovative technology that is present in the D-house laboratory and their infinite possibilities. 

During the laboratory activities, the students will be helped by a Project Leader teacher for the making of projects. 

The didactic pack also contains workshops and seminars that will give students the opportunity to interact and acquire direct experience by developing research projects on specific themes, cooperating with professionals and the most prestigious brand in the fashion and design industry. 

At the end of the course, all of the projects designed will be presented to a selected commission of professionals and experts of the field.
