This short course introduces fashion designers to the conscious use of Artificial Intelligence as a creative and design tool. Throughout the program, you will explore how to apply generative AI to the development of visual concepts, moodboards, and stylistic directions, while understanding the role of emerging technologies within the contemporary fashion system.
Through practical exercises, you will learn how to use prompt design techniques to develop fashion concepts and build coherent visual research. Particular attention is given to ethics, copyright, and creative authorship—key aspects for a responsible and professional use of AI technologies.
The course concludes with the creation of an AI Fashion Concept Board, including moodboards, color palette, narrative concept, and stylistic direction developed using AI tools.
To attend the course, a subscription to Midjourney AI software is required, with an approximate monthly cost of $10. The subscription fee is not included in the course tuition, and each participant is responsible for installing and managing the software on their own device.
Additional free AI tools will also be used (Google AI Studio, Nano Banana, Vizcom).
